And I think this is the first time in TSU history that UH is using TSU facilities for a game. UH (NCAA Tourney rejects) are playing the first round of the NIT on our campus ... why? I have no idea but at least we'll get a percentage of their sales from the game :).
We used to sometimes use UH...
Bring it on!!! I'm putting TSU past UNC Chapel Hill in my brackets tomorrow. If we play perfectly and they mess up alot, I honestly believe we have a chance.
Bishop Dunne's Rajan Cunningham is a game changer. He's a legit DI prospect and is the full package. If he stays healthy we will do extremely well in the running game ... I can't see any of our current players competing with him for a starting spot
I bet it'll be somewhere like that (no major city which I prefer). Have you heard of any 2017-2018 commits yet?
And we're only one game down from Alcorn, things are close in the regular season title. But we SHOULD win it b/c our hardest games left are at home. Alcorn is on the road for the...
So many guys on the team are brand new and probably don't know that TSU has a target on their back especially when playing fellow SWAC teams. Most SWAC teams have a out of body experience when playing us due to our reputation for excellence.
Nope, the tournament is always far away and they do...
Yeah like I said, most of the white guys I knew on campus were baseball guys from Unknown, Texas and they seemed unbothered by the HBCU status so maybe you're right.
Well technically we haven't lost a SWAC game in Texas so maybe we can expect them to sweep the SWAC Championship. The "Star of Texas" has been good to us. But outside that I don't think we will have the possibility of being competitive in the NCAA tournament like with some of our past teams...
I agree, I was a little surprised we lost to Jackson State. But 0 expectations for a win in post season is fair, that goes for the SWAC Championship too. We're a bit too inconsistent with synergy and execution. But we did sweep PV so I'm proud of that.
I was part of the JHJ Alumni Association but I don't think the executive board likes me after my critique about the current alumni director. She's not doing anything from what I see and I wanted to organize the group to remove her. I did a reply all to the JHJ alumni association about it and...
Non-SWAC: Houston Baptist will be a competitive game (unlike SHSU). I love the FAMU match-up b/c FAMU is a popular school and just adds to our exposure. Kennesaw I know nothing about but they went 8-3 last year so they're a good team most likely.
SWAC: I'm glad we got the traditional SWAC...
Ugh, I hope I never see his name again on this board. He had low football intelligence. Everyone knows how much I dislike him.
The current staff is highly motivated, love what they do, and nothing but good can come from it. I wish we had an organized football booster club/football...
Interesting, I never heard anyone say TSU can't recruit in Houston but that definitely doesn't mean it's not true.
Yeah, hudl is so comprehensive. All the recruits so far have hudl accounts. Now that I'm done with graduate school, I have a lot more free time to do other stuff.
And also I'm glad to see most of our signees are from the Houston area, that's a great way to help get the city behind the program and help improve attendance (their family, high school classmates, friends, etc)
