Ya'll remember coach and TSU alum Johnnie Cole right? Welp, it seems like he's still getting into trouble but this time it's more serious ....

Didn't I tell you guys we had a good team ... I was at the first game and seen with my own eyes. I think this season will be one for the record book. The only disappointment is graduate transfer Marcus Jones b/c I wanted him to be a bigger role player considering his experience and I don't...
So of course I was at the game per my word vs UT Arlington and my observations as follows.
1) Kevin Scott is the MF truth! He played well and is a sure in for all conference guard. He's my new favorite player to watch
2) Zach Lofton scored the most points but to me he played sloppy. I didn't...
This is why I've been blackballed by TSU alumni association. I'm too real and pragmatic lol ... but it's all good. I still love my alma mater, my experience at TSU has allowed me to do great things so I'm forever indebted and emotionally attached to the university
I had a typo but I think my point was clear lol. To be honest, homecoming was legit good this year and better organized. I guess my problem with homecoming is that I feel like too many people made that a top priority when it shouldn't have been. There's a million things I can think of that's...
What's funny is that the media was reporting that students were upset about homecoming as if most students cared but this year alumni heavily outnumbered students at all the major homecoming events based on my observation ... football game, parade, campus tailgate. Homecoming is truly only...
And I'm now starting to rethink my approval of hiring Dr. Lane. I'm not convince his vision for TSU is big enough. I want a president that wants TSU to be a nationally respected university and up in rankings .... as of now, we're like 40-something among HBCUs in a major poll and that's just...
Rudley and I have an interesting history (we know each other personally). I like and dislike him at the same time. Yes he built up the campus and added great programs but that really didn't matter b/c TSU is still practically dead last in almost every notable ranking/metric. What good are the...
I'm ready for football to be over because the season has pretty much ran its course .... nothing really to anticipate from my perspective.
We will end the season 4 - 7 (beat UAPB and lose to SWAC powers SU and GSU). I feel like we had a pretty successful season considering most games we lost...
SU has a message board I thought, I forgot the name of it though. I'm in class right now but I plan to look at PV and JSU. I've checked out Grambling's before.
The game would be more interesting if SHSU came to Houston. Every time we play SHSU, we travel to Huntsville. Most of SHSU alumni live closer to Houston so why not bring the game to them. Especially next year since we are primed to have a stronger, more competitive team.
I remember in the mid 2000s (2005 or 2006) we had a neutral game in Tyler I believe versus UAPB. but less than 3,000 showed up. But of course Dallas is way more fun and appealing to have a game ... not even close. The only people I knew who went to that game was my roommate Dad b/c he graduated...
This is important and a great addition to our athletic program. If it goes well the game will be renewed.
