Have we finally entered a GOOD era of TSU football??! Texas is a football state even though we are known more for basketball and baseball.
I seen a lot of promising potential last night. I kinda felt Dishman was playing it low key in the media because he knew he had a squad that was gonna shock folks. He said he's very competitive which I am as well so I figured he would shock some folks.
This win is what is needed to re-engage the fanbase and gain some respect. Losing 9 straight LDCs and having 12 straight losing seasons will kill any fanbase so it says something that our attendance is still better than the average FCS school (I did the research).
Now PV looked really off. I don't know if they were overly confident or nerves took over. But I don't care about PV and glad this will give us the upper hand in recruiting against them this year.
Great win Tigers and excited to see where this season goes. I had no expectations with a first year coach so he's already exceeded my expectation winning against a seasoned head coach in a big rivalry game. Dishman definitely won me over so far. That's my coach and I hope he's ready to build a FCS dynasty!
