BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Guards Malcolm Riley (Texas Southern) and Marcus Romain (Mississippi Valley State) have been named Co-Southwestern Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.

Thursday night against Southern Riley scored 21 points including five three pointers. In his season finale at Alcorn State, he made a SWAC season high nine three pointers and scored 36 points to help the Tigers defeat Alcorn State 76-66.

Romain scored a career high 31 points to go along with eight rebounds and 4 assists Saturday night against Arkansas-Pine Bluff. It marked the 11th time this season that he has scored over 20 points.
