The Texas Southern Tigers dropped game two of the series to UTSA 14-5 on Saturday.
Tiger starter Kewan Braziel suffered his fourth loss of the season. Despite pitching well in his last two starts, Braziel struggled to find the strike zone consistently against the Roadrunners. First-year pitching coach Shane Youman has been vocal about the team's pitching woes and takes full responsibility for the mishaps.

Coach Youman remains optimistic, believing he has a capable pitching staff that needs to focus on one pitch at a time.

On the offensive side, the Tigers showed resilience and chased UTSA starter Conor Myles, getting to the bullpen early. The Tiger hitters had several quality at-bats, forcing Myles to throw a lot of pitches, which is the approach Coach Robertson wants to see from his offense. Evan Joubert led the way, going 2-for-5 with a run scored, while Tuffy Legendre contributed by going 1-for-3 with 2 RBI.

The Tigers aim to avoid the sweep on Sunday afternoon, with the first pitch set for 2 p.m.
