SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The TSU men's and women's cross country teams opened the 2025 season at the UIW Invitational on Friday.TSU men finished fifth as Manuel Garza was the top finisher as he placed 29th in a time of 19:22.2. David Livingston (19:45.5), Jeremiah Barrera (20:12), Roberto Rodriguez (20:51), Brandon Adolphus (20:52), Gael Flores (21:50) and Bruce Prince (23:36) rounded out the performers in the 6K race.
Alyvia Brown paced the way for TSU as she finished 13th overall in a time of 14:28. McKenna Duty followed with a run of 15:16 while Katherine Canchola (15:32), Stacy Guerrero (16:45), Jessica Williams (17:56), Dakota Gaston (18:32) and Ruby Rangel (21:50) rounded out the runners.
Both teams return to action at Rice on Sept. 12 starting at 6:20 p.m.
