MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Senior Kci Lindskog claimed the individual title as the Texas Southern men's golf team posted a two-day total of 623 (312 – 311) to finish tied for third after the final round of the ASU Spring Invitational hosted by Alabama State.
The ASU Spring Invitational took place at Arrowhead Country Club. It was scheduled to be a 54-hole tournament, but inclement weather shortened it to 36 holes.
Senior Kci Lindskog was the individual winner following a three-way tie on 147 (73 – 74) but thanks to a birdie on his last hole, he won the event on a scorecard playoff. Lindskog posted a two-over-par 74 final round that consisted of three birdies, 11 pars, three bogeys, and a double. Freshman Yashal Shah posted an 11-over-par 155 (76 – 79), while freshman Bradley Lavinier was three strokes back on 158 (81 – 77).
The Tigers are back on the road this weekend as they will compete in the Gulf Coast Collegiate hosted by the University of New Orleans in New Orleans, La.
