MONTGOMERY, Texas – The Texas Southern Men's Golf Team posted a team total of 930 (305 – 310 - 315) to finish in 14th place at the Bentwater Intercollegiate hosted by Sam Houston State University on Tuesday.
The Tigers pushed through the challenging conditions of heavy rains throughout the final round. Freshman, Yashal Shah was the top scorer for the team with his 11-over-par total of 224 (77 – 73 - 74).
Freshman, Tristan Garrett finished three strokes back on 227 (69 – 78 - 80) which included a 2-under-par opening round. Senior, Kci Lindskog posted a three-round total of 237 (81 – 78 - 78).
The Tigers return to action this weekend as both teams will compete in the ASU Spring Invitational hosted by Alabama State University in Montgomery, Ala.
