Box Score WACO, Texas - A strong first half by Baylor was too much for TSU women's basketball to overcome as Baylor handed them a 101-29 road loss Wednesday night.Jaida Belton scored the first four points for TSU to open the game but BU scored 21 unanswered points as TSU would miss its next four shot attempts over the next three minutes to lead 25-4. Courtlyn Loudermill's jumper ended the drought with 3:13 left as Baylor closed out the quarter ahead 31-8. BU opened the second quarter on a 10-0 run before TSU's first points as they rode the momentum to a 55-15 halftime lead.
TSU had its best performance of the game in the third quarter as they scored 11 points. Defensively, the team forced 18 turnovers as Treasure Thompson led the way with nine points while Belton had eight rebounds and two blocks.
TSU is back in action Saturday against UCF at home for a 1 p.m. tip inside the H&PE Arena.
