I'm happy with what I'm seeing from the football team. This year of course is a building year but my expectations will be much higher next year. We finally got the strength and conditioning center going, we got a good coach, and the momentum in the program is high

Also I feel with UH going P5 that will have a positive trickle down effect on TSU. It's hard for me to put in words but just keep your eyes open.

I think the University Towers helped with that. More students living on campus. I also heard that they were going to redo Lanier East and Lanier West, possibly make them bigger too

If we can get at least 3 SWAC wins I'll count this season as successful. Anything beyond 3 wins I will be very impressed with Coach in his first season. My expectations go up each season

This is a down year for basketball. Hopefully we can recruit better this year b/c I just don't see another tourney championship but I hope I'm wrong. I'm not sure if key players are hurt or not b/c that could be part of it. Jackson State looks like the heavy favorite

Yeah I watched it. The energy was missing from him for me. He is not as charismatic as I was hoping but hopefully it's nerves and he's still a good motivator and recruiter. It's hard to deny he's very qualified

When is his press conference and formal introduction to the TSU community? I haven't seen anything

I don't know how I feel about this but I feel optimistic. I been doing research on him so far so good. He's definitely a defensive guy so he I'm expecting offense to be his weakness so his OC hire WILL BE THE MOST IMPORTANT
