Also hopefully we have a much better recruitment year. With the new strength and conditioning facility complete I'm expecting a big jump in the talent of the new recruit class this upcoming year.

I am still on the fence if I want Coach Jones back. If next year isn't a drastic improvement from this year ... he definitely gotta go

Also we played the toughest SWAC teams. Jackson State and Southern are up there. And Southern didn't have as big of coaching change as we did despite of having a new coach ... he was already there. I'm ready for basketball. If we don't win the SWAC Tourney this year, I'll be surprised

I'm happy with what I'm seeing from the football team. This year of course is a building year but my expectations will be much higher next year. We finally got the strength and conditioning center going, we got a good coach, and the momentum in the program is high

Also I feel with UH going P5 that will have a positive trickle down effect on TSU. It's hard for me to put in words but just keep your eyes open.

I think the University Towers helped with that. More students living on campus. I also heard that they were going to redo Lanier East and Lanier West, possibly make them bigger too

Yeah I watched it. The energy was missing from him for me. He is not as charismatic as I was hoping but hopefully it's nerves and he's still a good motivator and recruiter. It's hard to deny he's very qualified
