Baseball starts this weeks and as a true sports fan, I'm ready for it.  Maybe this will be the year we dominate the SWAC in baseball, I have faith

SWAC baseball has easily & quickly become one of the most respected "mid-major" DI conferences in the country. With Jackson State shocking #1 ULL and Alabama State upsetting #4 Miami in 2014 .... many eyes will be on SWAC baseball in 2015 (including mine).  Exciting season on the way fellas (and ladies) ....

TSU fell to Dallas Baptist yesterday in a heartbreaking loss 6-5. The Tigers had a 5-3 lead going into the bottom of the 9th, when DBU tied the game up at 5 to send the game into extra innings. A runner from DBU scored on an error to 1B that ended the game at 6-5.

I knew they were gonna come back ... DBU is really good (we are too).

No doubt they're good, but we had them beat. We gave it away. We can beat them.

We didn't get a hit after the 6th inning until the 10th where we finally got 1.

Bottom of 9th PBP:
Salters singles through the left side (2-1)
Reynolds reached on an error by SS (0-1); Salters advanced to second.
