KOHLER, Wis. – The Texas Southern Men's Golf Team moved up to third place following their team personal record of 2-under par 286 after day two of the PGA Works Collegiate Championship on Tuesday.

The Tigers played the Irish Course, where two players posted under-par rounds and another finished even par. Junior, Bradley Lavinier, continued the momentum from the day and still leads the way for the team after his two-under-par round of 70. Lavinier carded five birdies, ten pars, and three bogeys, and moved up six spots on the leaderboard to sixth place individually. His round also served as a tournament record performance as a collegiate player.

Senior, Kci Lindskog, also posted a two-under par round of 70 that consisted of an eagle, two birdies, 13 pars, and two bogeys, which brings him up the leaderboard tied for seventh. Freshman Ricardo Pham also posted a collegiate tournament record performance with his even-par round of 72 that included three birdies, 13 pars, a bogey, and a double. Ravepon Kosalutta carded a two-over-par 74 that included 16 pars and two bogeys. Yashal Shah finished 7-over-par.

The PGA Works Collegiate Championship is hosted at Whistling Straits on the Straits & Irish courses. The Men's DI Division Team will have 9 competing teams that include Alabama A&M University, Chicago State University, Howard University, North Carolina A&T State University, North Carolina Central University, Prairie View A&M University, Southern University, Texas Southern University, and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

The tournament format includes 54 holes over three days, with the Tigers teeing up for the final round at 10:20 AM on Wednesday on the Straits Course. The event has also been broadcast on Golf Channel daily from 3-6 p.m.

DAY 1
The Texas Southern Men's Golf Team is tied for fourth after their opening round of 306 at the PGA Works Collegiate Championship Monday.

The Tigers played the Straits Course where junior, Bradley Lavinier leads the way for the team following his 3-over-par round of 75. Lavinier carded four birdies, eight pars, five bogeys, and one double and is tied in 12th place individually.

Senior, Kci Lindskog is one stroke back on 76 and is tied in 15th place while Ravepon Kosalutta posted a 77, Yashal Shah carded a 6-over 78, and freshman Ricardo Pham finished 8-over par.
